When I was tiny, Alberta used to read me that P.D. Eastman book over and over until I memorized it and our mother thought (mistakenly) I had learned to read and was some Mozart-like prodigy. Anyway, XLo05 (Mother) gets a look on her face exactly like this bird when she's about to say something that's not, well, exactly critical, but pointed.
We returned from Myrtle Beach last night and Alberta and Mr. Alberta are partying it up in Belize by now, but I felt obligated to reflect on our hiatus at my own blog, www.itmustbemice.blogspot.com
