Wishing She Could Fly 24' X 30 " mixed media on canvas SOLD

At the mixed media workshop I attended last Saturday and Sunday, I painted this for The Three Muses, Wednesday Stamper, and the GPP Street Team Crusade.

I had the most incredible time this weekend working with at Kenson Thompson and six very talented women. Painting with other people is quite a different thing than painting alone in my studio. Everybody worked so hard to learn as much as possible from Kenson, but each took the time to notice what the others were doing and generously offered encouragement and suggestions. Cries, of "Stop now!" and "How did you do THAT?" drowned out all our initial fears and anxieties, and a wonderful time was had by all. I painted the background for this piece on Sunday afternoon and put on the finishing touches Monday. More details and photographs of the workshop to come!
