This little one is the very last from the series of paintings I created this summer after a visit to my childhood stomping grounds in south Mississippi. I still cannot get enough of this gold, magenta, red viloet, and black color combination, although I'm pretty sure I never saw a sunset like this even on Buccatunna Creek. The mystery of those forested wetlands and the dark shallows of the swamps inspired this painting, just the same. Because green is my favorite color and I use a little green in almost everything I do, it was easy to find an entry for this week's Wednesday Stamper challenge. Green has always been is a very spiritual color, in my mind, and represents growth, rebirth, joy. This lady ( My Time To Create) has a firm spiritual foundation, an open heart, and sees the beauty of the world around her.

Transform

Once upon a time there was a little girl imprisoned in a beautiful butterfly house. She was lonely and sad because she was all alone. Her fairy godmothers from the Enchanted World of Blog flew by and unlocked her chains. They gave her wings and flowers and magic swirls to set her free. The little butterfly girl was transformed and flew from her butterfly house into a beautiful sunset sky to spread the magic and joy and inspiration that she had been given. (For Sunday Postcard Art)
