La Parapluie 30 X 38 mixed media

This past weekend I participated in the Buckhead Spring Arts and Craft Festival which was a great venue for me. It was the second time I've had a booth at Chastain Park, and the residents of this neighborhood are so friendly that I will definitely return for the fall festival.

The gorgeous pink ribbon you see was given to me because I was lucky enough to have one of my my paintings chosen to be the image on this year's festival poster.

Several of my paintings, including 'La Parapluie" (pictured above) went to new homes, and I also accepted commissions for two large figurative pieces similar to this one. I've really enjoyed the three paintings of children that I've done recently, so I'm very excited that school will be out in two weeks, and I'll be able to paint full time!

New Work

So sorry for my long absence, but I've been spending every free minute getting ready for the Buckhead Spring Arts and Crafts Festival. Only 2 weeks to go! Here's one of my new paintings.
