Circuses, Wings, and Storybooks

This is my newest painting and part of the new collection I've been working on for the Festival on Ponce September 15-16.

The painting is striking and I can feel her bit of nervousness as she waits to go on stage!

The theme of the photos is "wings" to me, flight! I tried to watch "The Black Swan" last night but had to stop as it was so graphic in ways I could not stomach. And that might be why everything here sings wings to me this morning.

Your art is terrific!

This is such a quality painting! She is exquisite with a perfect hairdo. I feel she is somehow facing her past with some kind of caution!! Excellent work I adore the palette!
