Got My Orange Crush

My sister told me to paint something orange and, since orange paraded down the runways of New York during Fashion Week this spring, I thought she might be onto something.

And, since my personal color philisophy is that one bright color is never enough, I decided to add some pink to the mix. Here's a peek of what I'm working on outside today
:
I'm loving these colors.

Van Gogh had it right, "There is no blue without yellow and without orange."

fun piece. Hmm, orange maybe that's why my latest piece tended towards the oranges. I'm in fashion and didn't know it :-) Fun!

Every piece I create seems to have just a 'touch' of orange. It makes the other colors 'pop' for me. And when it's paired with hot pink --- BLISS!!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo

I can not wear orange with my coloring! However I LOVE IT!!! When I was a teen I painted all my furniture orange and yellow. When I had my first house I painted a spare room pumpkin orange, and then in this place five house later I had an orange powder room! It got tired looking, instead of a new coat we changed it to turquoise, all the accessories are in my bedroom now! Thanks for reminding me how much I too love orange. I miss that orange bathroom! Now I have splashes of it in artwork. Your painting is lovely no doubt the finished product will be gorgeous!
