Rise and Shrine

I TOLD you I would get a fez! Isn't Ava absolutely the best sister in the world? This is what she gave me for my birthday. (Be sure to check out her new photographs on her blog). She knew I needed this festive fez to help celebrate the Cigar Box Shrine Auction Fund-raiser for the children of Oaxaca in March. You can read all about it on Rebecca's blog.

Click here to read all about the Oaxaca Street Children Grassroots Mission.

Here's how you can help:

1.place this logo on your blog and link it to the invitation

2.make a shrine and donate it to the auction

3. return to bid on a shrine, knowing each dollar raised will make a significant difference in the lives of others

Meanwhile, Rock the Casbah!

Hello there!

I'm so glad you stopped by my blog.

Your Art Attic is spectacular! The red comfy loungy chair and ottoman are calling my name...."Laura, come take a nap on us after you browse through an arty book!"

I love the idea of markers and pens in a straw dispenser. I change my straws out so the color matches the season, but now I'm going to have to get extras for art supplies!

Your son is a cutie pie. Oh!
And those mushrooms were like something out of Alice in Wonderland.

It was great to meet you! Come say hello to me anytime-
Laura

What a fabulous FEZ! I actually have two! I inherited my father's old shrine fezes. But I think you look much better in them than I.
WHat a great cause, I will definitely check this one out!
THanks,
cathy
