I continued to experiment with textures on this 9 X 11 mixed media collage that I made for the
Created By Hand Pink and Red Challenge and the Leftovers Challenge at
My Artistic Life. The silk flowers are leftovers from my wedding scrapbook, the rose cutouts from an altered lampshade I made for my studio, and the paper scraps are from various collages. The central image is courtesy of Botticelli.

Incredible as always. It almost feels like you can reach into your screen and touch it. It's that 3d feeling. WOW

My goodness, this is so beautiful! Is the woman a cut out or did you draw her? She's gorgeous. The whole piece is visually intoxicating!
This makes me feel wonderful. You create stunning pieces. Every new piece is a celebration of live. Keep on going like this.
Somewhere I hear the distant sound of dusty hands applauding. It must be .... ah, yes it IS .. Botticelli himself!! Along with me, he's absolute fascinated with what you've done.
This is just spectacular! Love the colors and texture. Wonderful eye candy this morning. :)

What a beautiful piece to leave a little comment under! I love this. I love reading about it too.
Alberta, thank you so much for what you wrote in my blog recently. Wow, moved to tears and goosebumps and I keep going back to read it again and again. You have no idea what those words mean to me. And, you should know, that YOU have been an inspiration to me, one of a few places I truly go to get ideas flowing. I think your work is so original and unique and powerful and colorful and I feel stronger when I leave it. So, we are mutual admirers and I am just sorry I didn't tell you first! I can't wait to see what you do next and know that every one of my pieces has a little piece of you in it, some fragment or color or idea or happy feeling or something words cannot describe.
Have a good creative weekend,
marsha
