Chasing The Blues Away

The past few days have been the most dreary of this winter, cold, overcast, iron gray. All I've wanted to do is hibernate like a bear, so yesterday, I forced myself to crawl out from the warmth of my quilts for some Creative Therapy. I hoped that by painting these warm, citrusy hues onto my journal pages, I might energize myself, and it worked! This week the challenge at My Time To Craft is "Smile." Here's hoping these pages will make you do just that.

Love,
Alberta

Someone at my favourite radio station (public broadcasting) must love "Over the Rainbow" by the sadly departed singer, whose name I can't remember but I know he was Hawaiian, because it is played a lot and it has sort of found its way into my consciousness. Thanks for playing it.
I don't know about Kahlil Gibran's quote because our Anti-Cancer Council is always telling us to turn our face away from the sun and slip, slop, slap (slip on a T-shirt, slop on some sun cream and slap on a hat).
All that said, I can only ooh and aah over yet another stunningly gobsmacking work of art. Alberta, you bowl me over.
Send some of that cold weather you are tired of over here to Oz.

Cheers, Marie.
