Here's my entry for Illustration Friday and 4 X 4 Friday this week. I painted this this mixed media piece last year using acrylic, watercolor, and collage elements. The sandman was handrawn with Prismacolor pencils, and I later made 4 X 4 prints to use as graduation cards for the young men in my homeroom class. (For the girls I painted individual portraits which you can see on my April 22-27 posts, if you'd like to.)

As always your work stands out with even trying hard. It's just beautiful and always conveys a feeling.
Great work again.
Very nice and beautiful.

Love that vivid blue and what a great image floating in the sky!!
How wonderful, your scene looks great, love the blue.
I've been adoring your blue collages that followed your yellow collages, and now THIS! Sandman is magnificent in his moonshaped hat and nose. How utterly clever! And I LOVE that you've made the moon into a giant clock. You sound like the kind of teacher I would have loved -- one who cares about each and every student.
And happy anniversary! Your Belize girl and the photos are dazzling!
Brilliant background - the colours are SO vibrant.
Great blog. I love the funky lettering on your pieces.
