Hope Is The Thing With Feathers

You might have already seen this little one on my photostream. My technical staff is on vacation, so I can't post any new art, but here is Miss Hope Floats. She is a portrait of Meghan who always inspires me with her courage and resilience. I drew her in Prismacolor and finished her in ink as a graduation card.

Oh I do love this! How ingenious to personify "hope"! ...and she's floating in the universe..her hope keeps her bouyant! Thank you for this delightful, whimsical reminder of living light on our feet : ) And..thank you so much for leaving your thoughtful comments on my blog (via Pattie Mosca).. I will indeed be back for a visit.
Keep floating...
Cheryl
